Continue straight for .1 mile on Linden Avenue and turn left onto West Peachtree Street. Continue on West Peachtree Street and turn left onto Fifth Street. After crossing the interstate overpass, go through two red lights. The Klaus Building is half a block from the second red light directly in front of you. It is building 17 on the campus map. Physical address is 266 Ferst Drive. BY MARTA: It is not necessary to use a car or taxi from the airport, and if you arrive at rush hour it will actually be quicker to use rapid transit, locally known as MARTA. There is a MARTA station inside the airport. Fare is purchased through a Breeze ticket for an initial $2.25 charge. This Breeze ticket is good for 90 days and trips can be added to the ticket for an additional $1.75/trip. At the Airport MARTA station, go up the stairs and board any train, right or left. Take the train 20 minutes or so to North Avenue Station. When leaving the train, turn left and exit the station to the south (opposite to the direction of the train). Go to the right out of the station and walk west along North Avenue. After crossing over a freeway the campus will be to the right. Near the top of a hill, turn right onto Cherry Street and enter the campus. Continue straight on Cherry Street to the set of steps. Go down the steps, yielding right into and through the parking lot, cross the street, continue straight following the double wide sidewalk to the building in front of you which is Klaus. Signs will be posted along the route. Typically the walk between the campus and MARTA is ten minutes or less. The conference is located in the Klaus Building, which is building number 17 on the map. |
