Santosh Vempala wins the Class of 1934 Outstanding Interdisciplinary Activities Award

Santosh Vempala is the recipient of the 2012 Class of 1934 Outstanding Interdisciplinary Activities Award. This award recognizes faculty who have made significant interdisciplinary contributions to teaching and research. It is becoming increasingly clear that many opportunities for innovative teaching and research involve intellectual efforts from more than one discipline. This award has been made possible through the generosity of the Class of 1934. It includes a stipend of $7,500.
